The SSM National Conference 2026 (SSMNC 2026) is one of SSM’s flagship event, held since 2011, and is designed to support business and corporate professionals in staying relevant in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
SSMNC 2026 will be conducted in a hybrid format from 18 to 20 August 2026, with in person sessions at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) and online participation via Zoom Webinar. The conference will focus on strengthening corporate transparency and digitalisation for the future.
What’s new this year is a dedicated programme for in person participants, where attendees may choose to join interactive masterclasses and workshops on Day 3 of the conference. These sessions are specially tailored for company secretaries, and seats are limited.

The Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) is a statutory body established through the merger of the Office of the Registrar of Companies (ROC) and the Office of the Registrar of Businesses (ROB). SSM commenced operations on 16 April 2002.
SSM's core activities include serving as the agency responsible for the incorporation of companies, registration of businesses and limited liability partnerships (LLPs), as well as the supply of information related to companies, businesses and LLPs to the public.
As the leading authority in corporate governance, SSM ensures compliance with corporate and business laws through effective enforcement, monitoring and education. By promoting transparency and accountability, SSM contributes to the growth and resilience of Malaysia's corporate and business sectors.

In its mission to instil good corporate governance through continuous education and effective surveillance and enforcement, the Companies Commission of Malaysia Training Academy (COMTRAC) was established on 1 April 2007. It was established to spearhead SSM’s external stakeholders training initiatives. Its mission is to train and educate a wide array of corporate role-players comprising directors, company secretaries, the management and employees of companies, auditors, entrepreneurs, innovators and members of the professional bodies, consistent with SSM’s functions and power as stipulated under sub-sections 17(d) and 18(2) of the Companies Commission of Malaysia Act 2001.
