The SSM National Conference 2026 (SSMNC 2026) is one of SSM’s flagship event, held since 2011, and is designed to support business and corporate professionals in staying relevant in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
SSMNC 2026 will be conducted in a hybrid format from 18 to 20 August 2026, with in person sessions at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) and online participation via Zoom Webinar. The conference will focus on strengthening corporate transparency and digitalisation for the future.
What’s new this year is a dedicated programme for in person participants, where attendees may choose to join interactive masterclasses and workshops on Day 3 of the conference. These sessions are specially tailored for company secretaries, and seats are limited.
The SSM National Conference 2026 presents a strategic and future-focused platform for directors, company secretaries, governance professionals and corporate leaders who are preparing their organisations for a digitally driven world.
This year’s theme, “Navigating Business in the Digital Era: Trust. Efficiency. Sustainability” reflects the accelerating pace of technological transformation that is reshaping corporate governance, compliance functions, and organisational responsibilities..
As Malaysia’s business landscape embraces smarter digital ecosystems-AI-powered processes, data-driven decision-making, digital corporate reporting, and enhanced regulatory technologies—leaders must safeguard trust, uphold transparency, and champion sustainable governance practices. This conference explores how technology can strengthen regulatory compliance, enhance operational efficiency, and support long-term strategic value creation.
Through forward-looking keynotes, expert discussions and practical insights, attendees will learn how to harness digital innovation while preserving the foundations of good governance, accountability, and sustainable enterprise growth. The 2026 conference sets the stage for organisations not just to adapt, but to advance confidently into the next frontier of digital corporate stewardship.
